Continue for JetBrains Custom Model Configuration - Ace Data Cloud

The Continue JetBrains plugin uses the same YAML model format as VS Code; configurations and secrets must belong to the user running the JetBrains plugin.

Configuration

Add the following to Continue’s local YAML configuration:

models:
  - name: MODEL_ID
    provider: openai
    model: MODEL_ID
    apiBase: https://api.acedata.cloud/v1
    apiKey: ${{ secrets.ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY }}
    useResponsesApi: false

Save ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY in Continue secrets. For Remote Development scenarios, configure it on the host where the plugin is actually running.

Verification

Restart the JetBrains IDE, open the Continue tool window, select the Local Config model, and send Reply only OK; then execute the read-only file task again. If the old model is still in use, restart the remote backend and check the YAML indentation.
