# OpenCode Configuration Overview

> Platform integration guide - Ace Data Cloud

The OpenCode Coding Plan model Provider, IDE Extension, and MCP are three independent capabilities. The IDE Extension connects to the local OpenCode runtime and reuses the same Provider configuration; it does not mean that the host editor natively supports Ace Data Cloud.

| Route | Description | Link | Status |
| - | - | - | - |
| Terminal / CLI / TUI Provider | Uses `opencode.json[c]` and Chat Completions | [Provider Configuration](https://platform.acedata.cloud/documents/opencode-terminal-integration) | Validated configuration contract |
| IDE Extension | Hosts such as VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and VSCodium connect to the OpenCode runtime | [IDE Configuration](https://platform.acedata.cloud/documents/opencode-ide-integration) | Experimental |
| MCP | Calls remote tools within OpenCode | [MCP Overview](https://platform.acedata.cloud/documents/opencode-mcp-all) | Independent capability |

After the Provider configuration succeeds, the IDE Extension should use the same Provider and model. Chatting, file reading, editing, and tool calling within the IDE still need to be verified separately; a single ordinary CLI request should not be automatically extrapolated to all IDE capabilities.

Model IDs are subject to the [real-time catalog](https://platform.acedata.cloud/models).
