# Kilo Code for JetBrains Custom Model Configuration

> AceDataCloud Coding Plan integration guide - Ace Data Cloud

## 1. Obtain API Key

Open the [Ace Data Cloud application list](https://platform.acedata.cloud/console/applications), enter the available applications, and copy the API Key.

## 2. Configure Provider

The JetBrains plugin for Kilo Code uses the `kilo.jsonc` Provider format. The configuration must be located in the user environment where the plugin is actually running; during Remote Development, this is usually the remote backend host.

Write in `~/.config/kilo/kilo.jsonc`:

```jsonc theme={null}
{
  "provider": {
    "acedatacloud": {
      "npm": "@ai-sdk/openai-compatible",
      "options": {
        "baseURL": "https://api.acedata.cloud/v1",
        "apiKey": "{env:ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY}"
      },
      "models": { "MODEL_ID": { "name": "MODEL_ID" } }
    }
  },
  "model": "acedatacloud/MODEL_ID"
}
```

Export `ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY` in the environment where the JetBrains backend is started, then restart the IDE or remote backend.

## 3. Verification

Select `acedatacloud/MODEL_ID`, send `Reply only OK`, and then let the Agent read a test file. If it works locally but fails remotely, first check whether the configuration file and environment variables are written on the remote host.
