# Hermes Agent Interactive Wizard Configuration Guide

> AceDataCloud Coding Plan integration guide - Ace Data Cloud

## 1. Obtain the API Key

Open the [Ace Data Cloud application list](https://platform.acedata.cloud/console/applications), enter an available application, and copy the API Key.

## 2. Run the Wizard

```bash theme={null}
hermes model
```

Select **Custom endpoint**, then fill in the following fields:

| Field | Value |
| - | - |
| Base URL | `https://api.acedata.cloud/v1` |
| API Key | The API Key you just copied |
| API mode | `chat_completions` |
| Model | Go to the [model catalog](https://platform.acedata.cloud/models) to view it, and enter the target model name exactly as is, for example, `claude-opus-5`, `gpt-6-sol` |
| Context length | Leave blank for automatic detection, or fill it in according to the model catalog |
| Display name | `Ace Data Cloud` |

`Model` is the model name used by the `model` parameter in API requests, not the UUID of the service or API. You can first check it in the [model catalog](https://platform.acedata.cloud/models); if precise verification is needed, use the current API Key to request `GET https://api.acedata.cloud/v1/models`, and copy the `id` value of the target model from the response `data` array.

The wizard will write to `~/.hermes/config.yaml` and the local credentials file.

## 3. Verification

```bash theme={null}
hermes config check
hermes -z "Reply only OK" --provider custom --model MODEL_ID --ignore-rules
```

If the wizard does not save the configuration, run `hermes model --reset` and try again; 401 means that the API Key is invalid or has not been read by the current user configuration.
