# Continue for JetBrains Custom Model Configuration

> AceDataCloud Coding Plan integration guide - Ace Data Cloud

The Continue JetBrains plugin uses the same YAML model format as VS Code; configurations and secrets must belong to the user running the JetBrains plugin.

## Configuration

Add the following to Continue's local YAML configuration:

```yaml theme={null}
models:
  - name: MODEL_ID
    provider: openai
    model: MODEL_ID
    apiBase: https://api.acedata.cloud/v1
    apiKey: ${{ secrets.ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY }}
    useResponsesApi: false
```

Save `ACEDATACLOUD_API_KEY` in Continue secrets. For Remote Development scenarios, configure it on the host where the plugin is actually running.

## Verification

Restart the JetBrains IDE, open the Continue tool window, select the Local Config model, and send `Reply only OK`; then execute the read-only file task again. If the old model is still in use, restart the remote backend and check the YAML indentation.
